Let’s train a little more

We had a first team captain briefing today. The biggest issue was frequencies. There are not enough of them and pilots like to talk, especially if it’s an exciting day like yesterday. Also they don’t want the other teams with similar language on the same frequency. Well, hopefully there will be a solution, because especially when one team is doing ok and the other is fighting in 1 m/s thermal, they really don’t want to understand each others’ cursing and blessing the weather.

Horac said the weather would be good; so the tasks are set for the pilots to get to know Slovakia. For club class and world class there are speed tasks with north - east direction.

Standards have 401,5 km racing task (north - east Tvrdosin, south Skycov, little north - west Nove mesto and Vahom and north - east Kralovany).

Finally, today for the first time you can find the tasks on our website here:

The weather should be pretty much the same as yesterday. Nice, beautiful, exciting… :) Little blue in the south, nice in the mountains, and some thunderstorms might show up. There is a possibility of cirrus clouds plume from the thunderstorms in the east direction. They can come either form Czech republic, or from the mountains around Martin. Hopefully it will be from Martin so the clouds will go outside the competition area.

In the end, I would like to congratulate the  winners from yesterday: Darius Liaugaudas, Gerrard G. Dale and Laurent Couture. Now I understand whyG was so excited yesterday. :)
