A funny one
It looked almost official in the morning, but when I asked the pilots after landings about the day, they had answered very unofficially and happily. Yes, there is still registration and technical exam going on, but flying today was a lot of fun, as I’ve heard. Everybody I’ve asked told me that they started to fly the task, but then, they decided to do something “more interesting”. Germans got high in High Tatras. They especially complimented cloud bases at 2500 mQNH.
Talking about heights, Danes with the biggest smile said they had loved our country. It’s probably because the highest point in Denmark is about 170m. :)
Shortly pilots were very satisfied. The cumuli in the south were cheating, because they looked very nice but didn’t “include” the thermals. Africans complained a little bit that there were blue thermals around Ruzomberok, but it was very interesting anyway. They are actually planning to move here and ask for a job in Aerospool so they can fly from here all the time. :) I’m not sure if it’s such a good idea, but we sure will love to have them here.
Tomorrow will be the first official training day so maybe we stop having problems with the internet connection, because competitors won’t download movies anymore and start preparing for the tasks. :)
Looking forward to tomorrow.

“virtual edition” of wgc2010

Our main goal is to create parallel competition with real WGC2010 and precompetition in 2009. Same tasks, same scoring, same rules and as approximate wheater simulation as simulator Condor can get.
