Unofficial trainning
I’ve just come back from the briefing and the room was almost full. It’s a sign that today it’s getting serious. Since the early morning, everyone from the organization stuff is very busy. Technical exam started today and it will be running for next few days. Some of the pilots are little bit worried about the personal weight (I hope you understand I can’t babble out who told me that), but with all running and stretching around the gliders I think they have nothing to worry about. :) Besides, we watch the first cam record from the Howard Jones’s flight yesterday and we learned that pilots eat healthy and quite frequently. Registration continues also today. I’ve tried to go there and bring some information for you, but the room was so crowded I couldn’t even fit there. I bet, there must be some very pretty girls over there.
We have two tasks today. One for the world class and one shared for the Standard and Club classes. Racing task for the world class is going through Tvrdosin, Strecno, Dumbier and Novaky. Task distance is 294,4 km. The Standard and the Club also fly a racing task: Zazriva, Dumbier, Tlsta Hora, Velky Tribec. Task distance is 348,4 km.
Horac promised very nice weather. Cloud bases should be at 2200m QNH. Tricky will be the north part of the task with blue thermals. And also there is a possibility of showers in Nizke Tatry.
Well it looks like a nice day so far. :)
