After the briefing
The briefing today was little a bit different than usual. It started with the Fifo’s video. From now on, the video will be shown always in the beginning of the briefing so that the last thing everybody remembers before flying is the safety note.
Thanks to the next round of introduction of the organizing team, we finally got to know the tow pilots. :) They are always sitting in the corner of the briefing room and looking very cute dressed up in the same t-shirts. They do a little parade every time the grid is on runway 04. They are taxing behind one another trying to keep the same distances.
Also some sad issues were discussed. Unfortunately, Alexander Martynov didn’t have a life insurance so we organized a collection for his wife and children. The collection box is located in the registration office.
The weather today is hot and blue. There should be some cumuli hopefully in the afternoon, but not so many of them. The weather should be the best in the mountains as usual.
We have a racing task for all classes. For now there is a variant A on. (World class-task distance: 258,4km. Club class-task distance: 311,8km. Standard class-370,3km.)
So have fun everybody, but SAFELY!

“virtual edition” of wgc2010

Our main goal is to create parallel competition with real WGC2010 and precompetition in 2009. Same tasks, same scoring, same rules and as approximate wheater simulation as simulator Condor can get.
