Little change in Bulletin No.1

The renewed Bulletin No. 1 was published. Please, pay attention to the registration time - on July 2nd, 2010 the registration will be from 10 to 12 AM and from 1 to 3 PM. You can check it here.

SaFly tracking system from D-S-X

For the World Gliding Championship the SaFly tracking system from D-S-X  will be fielded. It is a new system that works not only to transmit the flight data from the gliders through GPRS and Satellite networks for tracking, but also works as an emergency location system. Moreover it is going to be an IGC flight recorder.

FCC 2010 is over

The international contest the Flight Challenge Cup Gliding 2010 Prievidza is successfully over. The winners are: Gerrard G Dale (GBR) in Club class, Roman Mracek (CZE) in Mixed class.

The cup for the best junior sport performance belongs to Jan Louda (CZE), the cup for the best male sport performance belongs to Gintautas Zube (LTU), the cup for the best female sport performance for Joanna Biedermann (POL) and the cup for the best sport performance at all for Ján Cesnek (SVK). See you next year!
